Welcome! Today my husband has prepared his famous apple Tarte Tatin and I have some vanilla ice cream too. I know, those snacks are getting out of my hands but today I have a more of a sweet tooth. Should we have some tarte while Eva, the winner of the raffle, tells us about her experience. After that we can knit the cowl together. What do you think?

I won the fantastic and very unique raffle organized by Aitana Villa on her Instagram profile @sugarwoolly. The prize was to design a cowl, together with Aitana, using a skein dyed by @encayarns, with the color of my choosing.
The process has been a rollercoaster of emotions, at a given point I was even nervous! But it has also been very easy. The fact that someone understands you so well even without knowing you is very difficult. But both of them delivered exactly what I had expected.
I simply adore the color of the skein. It is marvelous!
The cowl is amazing too! The hands of Aitana are pure gold. The design is very impressive, even if I was the one who chose the stitches the final result was just a very nice surprise. And, as I mentioned at the beginning, she has made the whole process very easy for me.
I am delighted to have participated in something so special. The whole thing has been a lot of fun for me.
For the name of the cowl I thought of the work Memole. When I was a kid I use to watch a cartoon, which had the same name. The main character, called Memole, had its hair of the same color as the yarn of the cowl.
